RALA consulting: we build the system, you focus on contracts
We deliver the management system required for RALA certification on a turnkey basis. You receive process descriptions, forms, software and expert support in one package, without overburdening your own staff.
Construction companies rarely have the time or a quality manager to build a management system. We do the heavy lifting for you, embed the practices at your sites and support you throughout the certification assessment.
The same turnkey model as in other Laatupankki implementations, now for RALA certification in the construction industry.
The package includes
Initial assessment
Building the system
Software implementation
Assessment support
- No need for an in-house quality manager
- No slide deck and goodbye
- No uncapped hourly billing
What does RALA consulting include in practice?
For us, RALA consulting means a complete delivery. We do not sell advice - we deliver a ready-to-use management system that meets RALA's assessment criteria and works in your day-to-day business.
Current state assessment
We identify which assessment criteria are already met and what still needs to be built. Usually, your company has a stronger foundation than you realise.
Building the system
We document processes from tender calculation to the warranty period and prepare the required instructions and forms. We do the work for you.
Software and maintenance
The Laatupankki software brings documents, measurements and nonconformities to site via mobile, and reminds you of deadlines between assessments.
After implementation, you will have a system ready for certification and a tool that keeps it alive.
Why buy a turnkey RALA system?
Building a system yourself takes months and often remains unfinished. With us, it is completed to the agreed schedule.
A faster route to certification
Ready-made templates and a familiar process mean you can be ready for assessment in weeks rather than a year. When built in-house, the same work can easily drag on indefinitely alongside other responsibilities.
Your team stays on site
Your site management team's time is spent on contracts, not writing documents. We mainly need to know how the work is actually done.
Ready to tender
When a client asks about certification, the answer is yes. The certificate opens up contracts that you could not even bid for without it.
A turnkey implementation is typically more cost-effective than using your own employee's working time to achieve the same result.
Benefits for management and finances
The benefits do not end with obtaining a certificate.
Data-driven management
When nonconformities, measurements and reviews are recorded in one place, management can see the situation without a separate reporting cycle.
Make the cost of errors visible
Warranty repairs, rework and complaints are among the construction industry's most expensive hidden costs. Systematic operations reduce them significantly.
Growth without chaos
When practices are documented, a new site manager gets up to speed quickly and quality remains consistent, even when several sites are running in parallel.
A well-built system ultimately shows on the bottom line as better margins.
How does the implementation proceed?
The turnkey implementation follows an agreed process at an agreed price. You always know where things stand and what is expected from you.
Free initial assessment
We review your company's situation, contract types and target schedule. We tell you honestly what certification requires from you.
- We assess your current practices and documents
- We compare your situation with RALA's assessment criteria
- We provide a fixed quotation and schedule
After the initial assessment, you will know the cost, duration and workload without any commitment.
Building the system
We build the management system around your processes. At this stage, we do the work and you provide comments.
- We document processes from tender to handover
- We prepare instructions, forms and allocation of responsibilities
- We review drafts with you and refine them
At this stage, your time commitment is a few meetings, not weeks.
Software implementation
We implement the system in the Laatupankki software and set up user accounts. Documents and forms are also available on site by mobile.
- We set up users and access rights
- We transfer documents and form templates into the software
- We train site management to use the software
The software ensures that nobody has to search emails for the latest version.
Embedding practices at sites
Together with your site management team, we introduce the new practices at your sites and ensure records are created as part of everyday work.
- We familiarise personnel with the new practices
- We launch measurements and nonconformity handling
- We monitor the first weeks and adjust where needed
This stage determines whether the system remains alive or not.
Assessment and ongoing support
We prepare you for the certification assessment, support you on the assessment day and continue providing support after certification.
- We conduct an internal audit and address the findings
- We help prepare the application and self-assessment in RALA's online service
- We support you on RALA's assessment day
- We ensure you are prepared for follow-up assessments
Our collaboration does not end with the certificate; it continues through ongoing maintenance.
A typical implementation takes from a few weeks to a couple of months, depending on the size of your company and starting point. RALA's own application process, from application to certification decision, takes around 3-6 months in total, and we ensure that your application and self-assessment are submitted on time.
What does turnkey mean to us?
Turnkey means that we take responsibility for the result, not just the hours spent. You receive the system, tool and support in one package at one agreed price.
One delivery, one responsible provider. The assessment, documentation, implementation and assessment support all come from us, so you do not need to coordinate several suppliers.
The Laatupankki software is included in the implementation. Your system does not remain on a network drive - it is where the work is done.
We support you in the certification assessment. We coach key personnel to answer the assessor's questions and ensure the right evidence can be found quickly.
Maintenance continues after the assessment. We remind you of deadlines and update the system when your operations or requirements change.
The same model also works for ISO management systems, making it easy to expand the implementation later.
Why choose Laatupankki as your partner?
We combine management system expertise with an understanding of what genuinely works in the everyday operations of a small or medium-sized construction company.
We do, not just advise
We write the descriptions and forms for you. You will not receive a task list from us, but completed work that you can comment on.
We know construction industry realities
We understand that site managers do not have time to sit at a computer. We build practices so that records can be made by mobile on site.
The partnership continues
We support you after the assessment too. Follow-up assessments and system updates are handled by the same partner.
We do not sell consulting hours - we deliver a system ready for certification that will still be in use a year from now.
Getting started is easy
In the free initial assessment, we review your situation and give an honest assessment of what RALA certification requires from you and whether it makes sense right now.
Where you are now
We assess your current practices and compare them with RALA's assessment criteria.

What certification requires

You receive a clear proposal for moving forward, including pricing and a schedule.

Frequently asked questions about RALA consulting

The assessment fee charged by RALA is not included in the implementation; RALA invoices it separately.
- Typically, a few meetings with key personnel, one review round for completed drafts, and implementation training for site management. We handle the demanding writing work.
- Yes. We scale the implementation according to the size of your company. For a company with only a few employees, the system is clearly lighter while still meeting the assessment criteria.
- Yes. RALA's assessment criteria and ISO standards are based on the same principles, so the groundwork serves both. Expansion requires additional work, not starting again from scratch. See also our pages on ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
- Findings are a normal part of the assessment and do not mean rejection. We help you address them within the agreed deadline, and certification proceeds after the corrections.
